Real life doesn’t operate on a semester schedule, and neither do we. With rolling application timelines and multiple program starts per year, we make it possible for you to begin your degree when it’s convenient for you. We offer 30+ fully online or low-residency hybrid programs to make balancing work and school more manageable. And our online learning structure offers you even more control over your schedule by blending live events with activities you can complete on your own time.
New England College is a private, non-profit institution founded in 1946 to meet the needs of service members returning from World War II. Since then, our mission has expanded to include helping students from all walks of life as they prepare for leadership roles in professional careers. Inclusivity, community, faculty commitment, and personalized education are the heart and soul of our academic programs. New England College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.*
We don’t pack hundreds of students into cookie-cutter online classes. Instead, we provide challenging, inspiring learning experiences in small classes. We select our faculty members based on a combination of academic attainment, real-world experience and their proven commitment to student success. We also offer individual support for enrollment, technical issues, tutoring needs and 24/7 library access. When you learn online with NEC, you’ll never learn alone.
New England College is committed to making higher education accessible for everyone who wants to pursue it. The average cost of our online undergraduate degrees is a competitive $10,500 per year, and financial aid is available to those who qualify. We also offer discounts for active-duty service members, veterans, and their spouses.

All programs offered by New England College are included in this regional accreditation. Inquiries regarding the accreditation status should be emailed to cmartin@nec.edu. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by the Commission indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality periodically applied though a peer review process. An accredited college or university is one which has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purposes through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Institutional integrity is also addressed through accreditation. Accreditation by the Commission is not partial but applies to the institution as a whole. As such, it is not a guarantee of every course or program offered, or the competence of individual graduates. Rather, it provides reasonable assurance about the quality of opportunities available to students who attend the institution. Show less
